High-temperature or low-temperature environment: High-temperature or low-temperature environment beyond the temperature range of the sensor may lead to changes in the material properties of the sensor, such as changes in elastic modulus, thermal expansion and cold contraction of parts and components, thus affecting the measurement accuracy and even failing the sensor. Therefore, when it is used in high-temperature or low-temperature environment, it is necessary to select a suitable sensor according to the temperature range of the county, or take corresponding measures such as heat insulation, heat preservation and cooling.
Dusty or corrosive gas environment: Dust will accumulate on the sensor surface, affecting its heat dissipation and normal work, and may also enter the sensor, causing wear and blockage of its mechanical parts. Corrosive gases, such as acid, alkali and other chemical gases, will corrode the metal parts and sealing materials of the sensor, resulting in damage to the sensor. In such an environment, the sensor should be moved to a clean and well-ventilated place outdoors, or a sensor with higher protection level should be used, and dust prevention and protection should be adopted. Environment with strong vibration or frequent impact: In case of strong vibration or complicated impact, the internal structure of the sensor may be loosened and deformed, which may increase the measurement error and even cause damage to the sensor. If vibration or impact cannot be avoided, anti-vibration products should be selected and appropriate damping devices should be added.
Therefore, the environmental conditions unsuitable for using load cells include high temperature, strong magnetic field, high temperature or low temperature, dusty or corrosive gas, and environments with strong vibration or shock.
